President's Message
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’d like to welcome you to the San Diego Chapter of the American Payroll Association’s web site. The purpose of our web site is to benefit persons in the Payroll, Human Resources and Compensation profession including our chapter members and others interested in finding out more about the payroll profession
The main purpose of this web site is to offer information about the SDAPA’s upcoming Events, Jobs available in the San Diego area, links to forms, publication, Payroll Links and other related sites including the National American Payroll Association. Our board members are listed along with photo. Board members
We hold monthly meetings that offer our members the opportunity to further educate themselves and to network with other professionals. Our guest speakers are informative and professionals in their field. We offer our membership Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) study groups each year. We help you maintain this certification by offering Continuing Education Units (CEU’s). Our Chapter celebrates National Payroll Week and co-sponsors the Annual Southern California Payroll Focus Day held in September. The San Diego Chapter is also involved in local charitable organizations and we encourage members and their families to get involved in these worthwhile causes.
My goal is to make this chapter something you are proud to be a part of, not because of the professionalism we practice, but because it helps you strive to become the best of the best. All the officers and committee chairpersons are here to help you in that endeavor. Please feel free to contact any of us for assistance. You, too, can help this chapter excel and meet its goals by volunteering just a few hours of your time to serve on one of our committees.
